My daughter’s teacher sent an email reminder that children were not to dress up on the day of Halloween, but that technically they are allowed to dress up on any other day of the year. Harumph.

Don’t you remember the delight of dressing up in something weird, funny, cute, or downright inappropriate at school? Now it becomes an intrusion on teachable hours or maybe it’s because my child is at a K-8 school and the bras doesn’t want the littlest students have to see the tweens and teens pushing the boundaries of good taste.

So get out your kitty ears today, Daughter.
