“There is no blue without yellow and without orange.” – Vincent Van Gogh
Lately, my world has been blue. Blue skies overhead. Blue waters beneath. Piercing blue eyes. Blue caves. My son reaching to hold the hand of blue-vested mannequins. Did I mention the uniforms of that championship football team?
It’s strange. January and February are grey months – all overcast skies and wool sweaters. It feels like the blue is telling me that the spring is close at hand, a whisper that soon I will see the delicate violets of the crocus and the unapologetic daffodil yellows.
What color is your world?
